AWARENESS ABOUT SOCIAL ISSUES CREATED THROUGH EVOCATIVE ART WORKS
Proceeds from the artworks sold at the exhibition will be donated for charitable causes
Jaipur : The 3-day ‘Art with a Heart’ Exhibition, organized by students of the Jayshree Periwal Group of Schools, commenced today at ITC Rajputana. It was inaugurated by Chairman RERA, Mrs. Veenu Gupta On the occasion, Mrs. Veenu Gupta appreciated the art exhibits on display and said that for the overall development of children, it is important that in addition to academics they also take part in extra-curricular activities. It greatly enhances their creativity and imagination. . To be held till 21 December, the exhibition has on display over 350 art works created by students of classes 1 to 12.
The Chairperson of the Jayshree Periwal Group of Schools, Dr. Jayshree Periwal, a passionate art enthusiast, commented that her schools were committed to creating new artists and visionaries, who will change the world and make it a more inhabitable place. She also added that the children of her school, the future citizens of the country, would be the torch bearers of change, who will lead the world.
The students of the school, across ages, demonstrated their talents through the oil and acrylic paintings, installations and sculptures. The highlight of the exhibition was the live portrait and live illustrations, which won the hearts and accolades of the visitors. The prominent themes were perspectives, music, culture, festivals and elements of life.
The guests were dazzled by the finesse, the profound thought and the sensitivity displayed in the exhibits. The art exhibition was attended by art aficionada, authors, students and their parents. Many of the young artists were seen discussing their exhibits with the enthusiasts and providing insights. The proceeds from the artworks sold at the exhibition will be donated for charitable causes.
